China commodities fair opens in Kazakhstan

ALMATY - The 10th annual China Commodities Fair in Kazakhstan opened in Almaty Wednesday.

The three-day fair includes three special categories, including machine-technical products, building materials and home furnishing products, and consumer goods and electrical products.

The fair gathers 250 major manufacturing enterprises from 10 Chinese provinces, cities and regions including Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Liaoning, Xinjiang and Qinghai.

On the sideline of the exhibition, an international business meeting will also be held to discuss trade and investment projects and create opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has been organizing the China Commodities Fair in Kazakhstan since 2003.
