The mainland's gold imports from Hong Kong climbed 59 percent in March, according to export data from the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong government.
The mainland bought 62,913 kilograms (62.91 tons) from Hong Kong, up from 39,668 kilograms in February and 9,166 kilograms in March last year, data showed.
