Haitang Bay duty-free shopping center, credited as the world's largest one, will open on Sept 1 in coastal Sanya city, South China's Hainan province. The center, invested 5 billion yuan ($812.51 million) by China International Travel Service Group, has a business area of 70,000 square meters, bringing together nearly 300 well-known international brands that cover clothing, bags, perfumes, cosmetics, watches, sunglasses, small leather goods and other 21 categories.
