China out to find biggest real estate complex

A campaign to find the largest real estate community in China has been launched in an apparent aim to strengthen supervision of the country’s real estate sector.

The move, sponsored by China Real Estate and China National Radio, will last from late November to August. There are a total of 930 real estate communities with a total floor space of more than 1 million square meters in China, industry statistics showed.

The campaign is also a reflection of the industry consolidation, said Liu Xiaoguang, chairman of Beijing Capital Group.
