Plant feed exports from Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province, increased respectively in weight and value in the first three quarters by 391 percent and 330 percent year-on-year.
The exports reached 65,000 metric tons and were worth $16.48 million in the first nine months, Shenyang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reports.
Main export products included corn gluten feed, corn lees and corncob powder.
To ensure the quality and safety of exported plant feed, the bureau strengthened supervision of the requirements of related laws and regulations. It has also implemented a fast customs clearance policy to reduce enterprises' costs.
