The National Energy Administration approved the third group of wind power projects with a combined capacity of 28.72 megawatts, according to an announcement on the NEA's website on March 11.
A total of 491 wind power projects were approved by the administration with a combined capacity of 27.97 megawatts, while four demonstrative projects, with a capacity of 0.75 megawatts, were also approved for grid integration and consumption.
More than 80 megawatts of total wind farm capacity were approved since 2011.
