Thousands of hectares of persimmons have been harvested this October in the southern mountain area of Zouping county, Binzhou city, Shandong province.
Growers in the county use a traditional manual method for peeling, hanging and drying the fruit to to make creamy and sweet dried persimmon. The product has created a channel for increasing the income of local rural residents.
A sea of orange spreads throughout the villages during autumn.
