ZHUHAI - The number of new aircraft Airbus delivers to Chinese airlines is expected to top 120 this year, sources with Airbus China said Monday.
A total of 105 aircraft had been delivered from Airbus assembly lines in the cities of Toulouse of France, Germany's Hamburg and China's Tianjin in the first ten months, about one-fifth of its global delivery in the same period.
This year marks the third consecutive year in which more than 100 Airbus aircraft have been delivered to China's mainland, a senior executive with Airbus China said on the sidelines of the ninth China International Aviation Aerospace Exhibition, which is scheduled to run from Nov 13 to 18.
Currently, a total of 853 Airbus aircraft are in service on the Chinese mainland.
