Rolls-Royce appoints Chinese mainland head

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced Friday its new position, Director for Chinese Mainland, and the Chinese mainland market will not be managed under its Asia-Pacific Region.

Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, currently Head of the China South Region for BMW AG, is appointed as the Director for Chinese Mainland, with effect from July 1, 2012. Wilhelmsmeyer has worked in senior roles for BMW Group for a number of years, with the past six years in China.

The Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific Region Paul Harris will continue his role. He will be responsible for Asia-Pacific markets, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, but not the Chinese mainland market.
