Chengdu has bolstered the amount of railway police on duty to provide better service during China’s 40-day Spring Festival travel rush. The annual domestic migration seeing many citizens return home for the Lunar New Year, known as chunyun, began on Jan 20.
Special service positions were inaugurated at Chengdu train stations to help children and elderly customers. Security guidance will be provided, and green channels will also be opened to provide conveniences to customers.
