The 15th Forum on Going Global Strategy for Chinese Enterprises was held in the Great Hall of the People on Dec 17, 2016.
The forum focused on the theme of “Close Integration of ‘The Belt and Road’ & Boosting International Industrial Capacity Cooperation”, and aimed to summarize the successes of Chinese enterprises in public diplomacy, culture exchange, and market integration in the process of going global; it also explored how to further advance the internationalization of Chinese enterprises and seek common development.

The forum was held through round table discussions. The first discussion focused on the theme of “Socialization and Internationalization of Chinese General Aviation”. Focusing on the general aviation industry, speakers discussed the development of aviation in China as well as its internationalization, and how to support and lead the globalization of Chinese enterprises under the Guiding Opinions on Promoting International Cooperation in Capacity Building and Equipment Manufacture, released by the State Council on May 13, 2015. The second round table consisted of in-depth explorations and discussions on academic research and theoretical innovation, service systems, and project matching of international industrial capacity cooperation.

Founded in 2004, the Forum was initiated by Wang Zhongyu, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the 11th CPPCC and WRSA Entrepreneur Alliance. The forum provides a platform for political, academic and business elites, but also contributes to the internationalization of Chinese enterprises.
Chen Zhu, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Dai Junliang, vice-minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and Cao Weizhou, member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress addressed the forum, which was hosted by Xu Changdong.
More than 700 experts and representatives from a dozen countries and regions along the Belt and Road attended.
