The first HRH salon, jointly hosted by the human resources communication center of the national health and family planning commission and the Chaoyang district health and family commission, was held on Oct 25 in Beijing. Distinguished representatives from nine countries, including the United States and Canada, were present at the salon.
The head of the Chaoyang district health and family commission said, “The purpose of the salon is to create a platform for international communication between our commission and international organizations and embassies.”
Live art and cultural performances by Chinese artists were presented at the salon.
“Incorporating more Chinese art and cultural elements into the salon is intended to offer insight into China and its beauty for the representatives,” the official said, adding “We hope to cooperate with the nine participating states to create a better communication environment, both at home and aboard.”
The Chaoyang district health and family commission is committed to finessing the strategies of "bringing in" and "going out" by selecting expert workers to go abroad and inviting foreign experts to share the latest news in their fields.
