The WRC 2016 is composed of 3-day Main Forum and 22 Theme Forums. The 22 Theme Forums will focus on different fields of robotics, including robotic education, self-driving, UVA, laws and policies, artificial intelligence (AI), AI+ pan-amusement, special robots, medical robots and other aspects, covering the latest robotic applications and industry hotspots.
Leading the Industry Trend, Creating "Hanover Exhibition" of China
The WRE 2016 will be for 5 days, to exhibit industrial robots, service robots and special robots, highlighting IA robotic applications in the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, with exhibits of cutting-edge products from nearly 150 Chinese and foreign famous enterprises, including Yasukawa, Tesla, HIT Robot Group, SIASUN, StepRobots, Festo's eMotionButterflies, Rethink Robotics's smart cooperative robots, USTC's Robot "Jiajia", Shandong University's quadruped bionic robot, Pepper the emotional robot, Shanghai He Fu robot, Aldebaran Robotics, Robotis. The Exhibition will be on show in South Hall and North Hall in parallel, with indoor exhibition area totaling 40,000 square meters, where, the North Hall is for service robots and special robots, and the South Hall is for industrial robots, by the way, there is a Global Innovation Exhibition Area.
Popularize Robots in People's Life, Making "Olympics" of Robotics
The WRCC 2016 includes 6 competition events, from robot water/land/air competition to Olympic champions Yao Ming & Wang Liqin challenges, from RoboCup Challenge to RoboCom Adolescence Challenge, every minute is exciting and inspiring, a robotic "Olympic Game" will be on show! In the Unmanned Driving Challenge, LeEco and other intelligent car enterprises will have ultimate duel with Sun Yat-sen University and other universities, concurrent with intelligent car display and explanation; in the UAV Flight Limit Challenge, all kinds of UAVs are circling, gliding, sprinting, flying, and "dancing", to compete for who is the "king of speed"; in the International Underwater Robot Competition, student teams from PLA University of Science and Technology, Beijing Information Science & Technology University and other Chinese and foreign universities will perform robot water polo, water rescue, synchronized swimming and other matches; in the World Robot Exhibition’s Star Challenge Competition, Wang Liqin vs. badminton robot and Yao Ming vs. Brainwave Mind Control Robot matches will be wonderful on show; in RoboCup Challenge, the robots will form football teams to match; in RoboCom Adolescence Challenge, world top youth teams will match with techniques and practices around Heaven palace building, Starlight, and Eyes of the universe. Hand in hand with domestic and international benchmark enterprises and elites/experts/gurus, the WRC 2016 is based on conference internationalization, forum professionalization, exhibit intelligence, competition popularization, venue greening, and full media broadcasting, to build the world highest level of international cooperation and innovation platform for robotics development, for the purpose of driving a new round of sci-tech and industrial revolution, jointly create core technological competence, share green intelligent manufacturing, jointly win global robotic technology and industry development, and it will become another top notch event of world robotics.
