Gai Yuyun, director of the Beijing Zhongguancun Management Committee's China innovation strategy Office, and other experts from Zhongguancun, visited Shiyan, Hubei province on August 8 to discuss the development of Shiyan's innovation.
Long Liangwen, deputy party secretary of Shiyan, said Shiyan and Zhongguancun have gained successes in ecological protection, trade communications, human resource development and public service capacity since the two sides decided to cooperate with each other.
He also mentioned that Shiyan still needs to rely on the advantages of Zhongguancun's platform to solve problems such as brand creation, product improvement and talent introduction.
Gai Yuyun said Shiyan has a strong automobile industry with a lot of room for future development. He promised that Zhongguancun will continue to help the city to develop economically.
During their visit, Yu Yujun, head of the Zhongguancun Institute for Innovation, gave a speech on strategic transformation, technological innovation and financing of enterprises' transformation and upgrading. More than 80 entrepreneurs in Shiyan attended the lecture.
