The Zhongguancun Civil-Military Integration Industrial Alliance, the Luoyang government and the High and New Technology Industrial Development Zone of Luoyang, Henan province, signed a cooperation agreement on the establishment of the Zhongguancun Civil-Military Integration Industrial Park in Luoyang on August 9.
The program, worth 5 billion yuan ($750 million), will produce the only civil-military integration industrial demonstration area in Henan province.
The industrial park, aiming to form a pattern that integrates total elements, multi-fields and high efficiency while realizing industrial upgrading, will strengthen the technical and financial advantages in Luoyang's private economy and deepen the strategic cooperation between military projects and scientific research institutions.
The park will focus on three sections: overall industrial competitiveness, key industrial distribution and the commercialization of national defense scientific and technological achievements.
By 2020, more than ten civil-military integration platforms and five provincial institutions of key enterprises will be constructed.
The Zhongguancun Civil-Military Integration Industrial Alliance, established in September, 2014, has attracted more than 200 member enterprises.
The civil-military park conducted by the alliance in Haidian District, covering 110,000 square meters, is devoted to the construction of five platforms -- an innovation platform for middle and small companies, a bi-lateral transformation platform for civil and military technologies, an innovation strategic cooperation platform for civil-military technologies, a demonstration platform for civil-military integration achievements and an integrated civil-military service platform.
