Classical music can be fun and spontaneous. That's what Igudesman & Joo, a duo comprising classical musicians Aleksey Igudesman and Richard Hyung-ki Joo, believe.

The duo will showcase their repertoire comprising classical music, comedy and pop music in Beijing later this month.

The duo first met when they were both 12 years old and studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School in England.

Igudesman, a Russian violinist and composer, and British-Korean pianist Hyung-ki Joo started to perform as a duo in 2004, and since then they have performed with symphony orchestras at music festivals and in concert halls around the world.

So far, clips of their performances on YouTube have been viewed more than 28 million times.

Their show includes A Little Nightmare Music, a play on the Mozart string quartet Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
