The global payment and tech company will offer custom-made experiences for tourists from all around the world.
Card holders will have the opportunity of visiting the Summer Palace, ancient emperor's mausoleum that hasn't opened to the public, and having a private tour of the Galerie Urs Meile.
"Beijing is an ancient city with more than 3,000 years of history. It is also one of the most important windows leading the world to China," says Cao Pengcheng, deputy director of the Beijing tourism commission.
"We're hoping to share special Beijing culture tours with tourists worldwide through this strategic alliance, and display Beijing's magnificent sceneries and abundant culture heritage," Cao adds.
Beijing has been a leader among tourism destinations in Asia-Pacific region, according to MasterCard's destination index report.
The cooperation will boost inbound tourism in the mainland and showcase the choice of Beijing will be a priceless experience, says Chang Qing, president of MasterCard China.
Sawyer Hartman from the US has been a beneficiary of the cooperation. MasterCard offered him a 10-day trip to Beijing. He took helicopter and enjoyed the bird's-eye view of the Great Wall. His other exciting experiences included Peking Opera, tai chi training and traditional Chinese medicine-based health preservation.
