Compared to previous CHITECs, this year’s expo featured more projects related to product development from technical achievements, particularly in electronic information, mechanical and electronic integration, and smart transportation and agricultural science, all of which play a significant role in moving research achievement to the market. The expo, and especially its science and technology projects from the central and western regions, was a platform for technical cooperation and exchange among provinces and cities. Some projects on the Internet of Things and smart cities were launched during the expo, according to the organizing committee.
