On April 18, Jiukuaidao and Linlin Wine Shop jointly announced a strategic partnership. Based on a sales channel network of the Internet + traditional wine industry shops, this cooperation will take advantage of the strengths of both parties, introduce new consumers to wine and develop the industry under the new economic situation.
Linlin Wine Shop is an old-brand competitive enterprise with a brand recognition and user base of over 20 years; Jiukuaido has its own advantages in terms of products, technology and capital. The parties’ cooperation in technology and products is expected to be mutually beneficial.
Jia Jingfeng, the general manager of Jiukuaidao, said thatJiukuaidao has the strongest product resource advantage in the Chinese wine industry. Its products will be supplied to Linlin, just as those of Linlin will be supplied to Jiukuaidao. Product offerings from both companies will thus be enriched. Technologically, Jiukuaidao will share its platform with Linlin to help Linlin with online exposure. At the same time, through analysis of accumulated terminal data, Jiukuaidao will guide product sales of Linlin’s offline stores. All Linlin’s chain stores will enter the platform of Jiukuaidao to enjoy this advantage.
Jiukuaidao has also signed a similar strategic cooperation agreement with Anhui Yifajiu, which will offer the advantage of Jiukauidao’s technology and the advantageous products of both companies to create a win-win situation.
The two projects will reportedly enter Jiukuaidao’s ‘bamboo forest plan’, which was launched in 2015 and aims to set up a Chinese chain wine alliance. Jia Jingfeng said that in the current situation, when the environment of the wine industry is depressed, the chain stores in the industry should help each other through multi-layered and multi-aspected cooperation. In the future, Jiukuaidao will cooperate with over one hundred wine shops in product development and resource integration.
