On May 14, the launch ceremony of “Breastfeeding for Love”, hosted by a special fund of the China Overseas-Educated Scholars Development Foundation (COESDF), was held in the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
The project was launched by a group of both domestic and overseas experts in the maternal and infant industry, which aims to carry out various public benefit activities on maternal and child health and enhance the level of breastfeeding by forums, lectures, parent-child campaigns, door-to-door service and Internet Plus methods.

Ma Wenpu, director general of COESDF, noted that COESDF has set up a special fund on maternal and child health to help promote breastfeeding in China.
Hu Zhenmin, executive deputy director of the Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, sent a written address to the ceremony and expressed his hope that the project can bring new methods and ideas to the maternal and child health industry and develop into a trial project on maternal and child health.
In the dialogue session, domestic and overseas experts had a discussion on how Breastfeeding for Love can work in communities.
Breastfeeding for Love has received full support from more than 30 experts from the United State, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Beijing, Shanghai and other countries, regions and cities.
