The Beijing Digital Content Industry Association (DCIA) held a press conference on the digital content section of the 4th China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on April 14.
The section, with a theme of “Drive Business by Content and Promote Value by Platforms”, will emphasize three parts --- exhibitions, discussion and business negotiations -- which cover digitally-based games, learning, media applications, and publishing, as well as computer animation and other fields, according to an official from the DCIA.
The 4th CIFTIS will build a bridge between Angel Investments from Silicon Valley and China’s start-ups. One of the earliest incubators in the world, PLUG AND PLAY (PNP), has an enormous interest in China’s market and will organize the Sino-American Intelligent Innovation Forum at the fair. PNP has invited the mayor of Silicon Valley, enterprise representatives and excellent entrepreneurial teams from both China and the US to the forum.
Beijing Joymax Science and Technology Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tencent, will introduce its children’s digital content product, Kangaroo Tiaotiao, to the public and seek cooperation for its children’s content platform.
The platform uses the Kangaroo Tiaotiao App as a carrier to offer online opportunities to traditional publishing houses, content studios and freelancers, and aims to create an authoritative platform for digital content focused on children.
