The 2016 Beijing Book Fair (BBF), running April 15 to 25 in Chaoyang Park, is a large public reading activity hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and undertaken by Beijing Publishing Group.
Through sales of books, audio and video products and other digital contentthe fair will put more than 400 thousand titles on display, representing hundreds of well-known domestic publishing groups, including China Publishing Group, Beijing Publishing Group, SDX Joint Publishing Company, the Commercial Press, People's Literature Publishing House, China Youth Publishing Group and CITI Press Group.
As announced, this year’s BBF has found a new way to sell books -- online at www.bxmedia.net. The website has launched a WeChat account, “北新网”(www.bxmedia.net) or “北新读书”(bx reading), as well as an app with the same name. If you download the app right now,you can get two free tickets to thefair.
During the fair, many famous writers will meet with readers for book-signings and lectures.
