Brazilian vocalist Rhaissa Bittar will perform two concerts with her band in Beijing. On Thursday she appears at Yugong Yishan from 8:30pm while on Friday she is at Dusk Dawn Club from 9pm. She will perform several songs from her latest album, selected by a key music website in Brazil as the outstanding album of 2014.
Roberto Jaguaribe, the new Brazilian ambassador to China, says the singer was chosen from Brazil's New Voices project. Starting from 2011, the project aims to support young Brazilian musicians to perform overseas, in order to strengthen the cultural communication.
