An international education book exhibit opened in the Beijing Taihu Publications Exhibition and Trading Center on October 22. The two-day event, the fourth session this year, was sponsored by the Beijing Publication Import and Export Corp (BPIEC) year. More than 50,000 foreign language books, including some from the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Japan were displayed at the expo. Ten percent discounts were offered for purchases at the event.

More than 10,000 education reference books from abroad were displayed. The expo had two exhibition areas in the center, one for the China International Publishing Group (CIPG), and the other for BPIEC.

The CIPG exhibit gathered 18 publishing groups, including Oxford, Black Cat and EVAN-MOOR.

The annual expo offers foreign press, educators and booksellers an opportunity to get together and communicate. This year it included an interaction and exchange zone for lectures and promotions.

As more Chinese study abroad, demand for bilingual schools and books is increasing.. BPIEC has hosted the expo since 2012 and actively cooperates with foreign media. It has continued to introduce original versions of foreign teaching materials, turning the expo into a well-known international education publication show.

The sponsor also offers one-stop trading with targeted recommendations and on-the-spot order and settlement. More than 200 international schools and training centers, attended the event, including the Western Academy of Beijing, the International School of Beijing, and New Oriental Education & Technology Group.
