James Flanagan, half French, half American, has been in China for 9 years. James is the founder of TED x Beijing, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. James has been doing TED x Beijing for two years now, he said he had learned a lot himself during this period of time. As he understands more about China, James said it was hard to fail in China.
