Art Beat in August

The Chinese musical Lasting Happiness, directed by singer-songwriter Xiao Ke, will be staged in Beijing. The show features more than 20 pop hits written by the songwriter during the past decade. It tells the story of a couple, who attend a high school reunion. Since its debut in 2013, the musical has been performed more than 200 times.

Art Beat in August

Chinese pop singer-songwriter and producer Chang Shilei will share his musical stories with fans in Beijing. Known for writing the song You and Me, which was performed by Sarah Brightman and Liu Huan at the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, 34-year-old Chang will perform more of his songs as well.
