BEIJING - A drug gang has been busted in Beijing with 20 suspects arrested, Beijing police said on Saturday.
The police said the gang bought methamphetamine from southwest China's Sichuan province and built an extensive sales network in the Chinese capital.
The gang's leader died in May but his girlfriend soon took over, the police said.
The police started to investigate the gang in April and caught the female drug boss on July 11. Four bags of methamphetamine were found in her possession.
The drug boss, surnamed Yue, said she sold the drugs in Beijing for ten times the price she paid in Sichuan.
The police seized 4.2 kilograms of drugs.
