The new flight route will open on September 23rd, one week before the Chinese National Day. It will be the first direct flight between China and the Czech Republic. Libor Secka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China, expressed his congratulations. Using a Boeing 767 aircraft, the whole trip will take about 11 hours. It will operate on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Chen Ming, Vice-Chairman of HNA Aviation Group, said they could not have made it without the help of the civil aviation authorities from both sides. The Czech Republic, located in the middle of Europe, attracted more than eight million tourists in 2014, including 21,000 Chinese visitors. Its capital Prague was voted one of the five most romantic European cities last year. Noemi Benesova-Guerrero, representative of the Czech Tourism Department in Beijing, said the start of the direct flight between the two countries will help both sides.
