Hermes preview
French luxury brand Hermes held a preview of its 2015 autumn/winter collection in Beijing recently. The collection, inspired by the idea of "leisurely walk", presents equestrian-inspired accessories such as calfskin bags, scarves and shoes. The womenswear collection features cashmere coats, sweaters and cigar pants, while the menswear collection highlights soft cotton shirts and wide pants. The silk scarves, an iconic category of the brand, offer both simplistic and vividly colored choices.
Swarovski exhibits fine pieces
Celebrating its 120-year-old history of cutting and adapting crystal jewelry stones, Swarovski presented the sixth World Jewelry Facets exhibition first in Shanghai and moved on to Beijing since June 25. In partnership with 120 notable fashion and lifestyle brands from different parts of the world, the show has jewelry by some of the world's most renowned designers, all dazzling with Swarovski crystals. The designers included Jean Paul Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta and Roberto Cavalli, as well as Chinese designers Judy Hua and Wang Peiyi.
Adidas' new collection
Adidas presented its 2015 autumn/winter collection in Beijing recently. It features shoes, womenswear and menswear, highlighting high-tech fabric and innovative craftsmanship. Themed as "Collective Memory", the collection presents updated versions of three signature models of shoes, the Superstar, the Tubular and the ZX Flux. Singer Pharrell Williams, Japanese fashion brand Neighborhood and US fashion designer Jeremy Scott designed for Originals, the classic line of the brand.
Lifestyle space
Chinese designer brand Cabbeen has opened a flagship store in Shanghai, unveiling its 2015 autumn/winter collection at the same time. The brand has four clothing lines Cabbeen Lifestyle, Cabbeen Urban, Cabbeen Chic and 2am, as well as crossover brands like Cabbeen Home, Cheris and Flower Moment. They are all integrated in a space of 1,012 square meters. Among them, the Dongtian Cabbeen styling space is a new joint project with renowned stylist Li Dongtian.
