China Central Academy of Drama recently held the 4th International Workshop on Theaters Management, bringing together 60 Chinese theater companies and 11 from abroad.
Managers from UK's Royal Shakespeare, Japan's Shiki Theater, Italy's Emilia Romagna Theater, France's National Theater for Strasbourg, Arts Center Melbourne and others discussed the workshop theme "relationship between theater and city", in Beijing.
Foreign theater managers talked about how to develop audiences and find patrons, among major topics.
CCAD started the program in 2013, and it became biannual since last year.
