The Rosewood Beijing hotel seems to launch something new every month - in June it's a weekend brunch at Bistrot B, served in the dining room or in the just-opened outdoor courtyard. We could rave about the salmon eggs Benedict, with its tomato-tinged pink hollandaise sauce, but our favorite item last weekend was a buckwheat crepe toasted crisp enough to fold into an open-faced package. It's loaded with Parma ham, a farm-fresh egg from an organic Shunyi supplier, and just enough premium Gruyere cheese to make angels sing. Brunch includes two (270 yuan, or $44) or three (300 yuan) items from an extensive menu and one "hangover cure" cocktail. (A free-flow beverage selection is 130 yuan extra.)
