A 62-year-old villager in Zhangjiakou spent months to create a series of gourd sculptures with Winter Games patterns to express support for Beijing and Zhangjiakou’s joint bid for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
Gu Bin is a farmer of the Guanhou village in Xuanhua district of Zhangjiakou city. He started to create gourd sculptures ten years ago, and took it as a hobby for years.
