Flashback brunch
The relaunch of the "Retrolicious" brunch was the place to be on Sunday, as the Westin Financial Street hotel in Beijing amped up its back-to-the-'60s feed with more pan-Asian cuisine, more intriguing bar selections, more plate-spinning chefs, more strolling servers toting giganto bottles of champagne, and more big hair than ever. Staff members in black fright wigs kept circulating with extra nibbles, pizza, retro beverages with pink-and-white striped straws, and the biggest ice-cream cake we've ever seen. The bountiful buffet is 488 yuan ($79) per person plus service charge including free-flow Veuve Clicquot champagne, cocktails, wines, beers, juices and soft drinks; 448 yuan per person with non-alcoholic beverages; 239 yuan for kids ages 3-12. There's a kids' area with a clown, bouncy castle and private cartoon room.
