New Cachet store
Multibrand fashion retailer Cachet with five shops in China, recently opened another store in Beijing's Wangfujing area at In88 shopping mall. The store offers a range of products from womenswear to footwear, leather goods and accessories. It also sells art publications and items from Chinese brands such as Haizheng Wang, Simon Gao, Vega Zaishi Wang and Vmajor.
Joyrich pop-up shop
US fashion brand Joyrich recently opened its first pop-up store in Lafayette Beijing. Founded in 2008 in Los Angeles, Joyrich is known for mixing street and youth culture in its designs. The pop-up store presented the 2015 spring/summer collection, which highlights floral prints and geometrical tailoring. Pop art and sportswear is also incorporated in the design.
Preserving nature
Parkview Arts Action, an art organization of Beijing Parkview Green mall, held a seminar on environmental protection through culture and art. May Mei, chief representative of WildAid China, shared WildAid's practices of protecting water, air and wildlife through collaboration with art organizations.
Reda's collection
Italian fabric maker Reda recently introduced its new collection in Beijing that's inspired by its customers, as well as the worlds of art and fashion, the company says. There are eight lines in colors like gray, green and blue. The Active line is developed for sportswear while others are for more formal wear. Reda celebrated its 150th anniversary this year.
Textile, fur deal
China's leading fashion company, Shangtex, has signed a cooperative agreement with fur fabrics manufacturer Kopenhagen Fur at the conclusion of the 2015 Shanghai Fashion Week, as announced by the two parties in late April. Founded in 1957, Shangtex is one of the largest textile manufacturers and traders in China.
