Some innovative new equipment will be on display at the Beijing International High-Tech Expo which takes place May 13-17, in Beijing, with 17 products developed by young innovators, most of them born in the '80s or even '90s-post, being related to daily life and being an attempt to create a better life through technology.
One example is a device that can prevent the build-up of scale on a boiler's heat-exchangers by up to 95 percent, called the SYBF de-scaler, and it is a product of Beijing's Shengyuanbaofeng Energy Saving Technology Co. It and the other 16 pieces of equipment are meant to show the innovative and entrepreneurial skills of young Beijing people.
Zhang Xiaoqing, the general-manager of Shengyuanbaofeng Energy, explains, "The de-scaling equipment is now a leading de-scaling product by removing scale in a physical way in China . It is very efficient and can adjust to China's water quality and other requirements and will help save energy by cutting coal or gas consumption by 15 - 30 percent and protect the environment by its method which doesn't use chemicals, reducing contamination to the soil and underground water."
These innovative products also deal with the Internet, IT, energy, environmental protection, modern services, medical care, new materials, and cultural innovation, showcasing young people's technological ability.
The exhibition of achievements by young innovators will be a highlight of this year's high-tech expo, which is expected to be a good place to create opportunities for young people to turn their inventions into business items.
