Four men have been ordered by Daxing district court to pay 600,000 yuan ($96,000) to the family of a 20-year-old woman who died after a drinking binge in November 2013.
Xiao Juan was invited to drink with the four men in an entertainment venue in Daxing. They drank 30 bottles of beer before moving on to a noodle restaurant, where Xiao consumed 0.25 liters of white liquor. She was found dead the following morning. Doctors said she had died of alcohol poisoning.
