Beijing's Economic Technological Development Area, or E-town, held its annual Logistics Conference on Mar 18, at its Brilliance Automotive and with the area enterprise association hosting the event which attracted more than 100 guests and entrepreneurs from E-town.
The focus of the gathering was new trends and possible improvements of the area's logistics, with some distinguished guests, such as Song Yuantao, head of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Logistics Research Center, and CEOs of some large corporations who shared their management experiences with logistics supply chains.
The participants also turned to the experts for some advice on dealing with logistics problems their companies face and, while others at the conference spoke about creating a logistics chain of experts, sharing and mutual benefits, and improving efficiency in the zone's logistics to help lower costs for enterprises.
