Sino-ROK crew to attend the red carpet show of the 5th BJIFF

The organizing committee of the 5th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) unveiled its first batch of red carpet lineup, Xinhua Online reported on March 13.

Actress Angie Chiu will take part in the red carpet show and present the Tiantan award, according to the organizing committee. With outstanding acting skills and known as the "Goddess of Youth", Angie has been in the entertainment circle for decades.

The film Fighting Youth is about to bring vitality of youth into the red carpet. Telling a story of a group of young people who come to Beijing fighting for love and career with boldness and courage, the film is made for the youth. Directed by writer Hong Shui, the film's cast includes Sun Jian, Fan Yichen and Mao Xiaotong. It will be on show at the opening ceremony of the event.

The creators of the Sino-ROK co-shot film Honey Enemy are expected to attend the show as well and enable the audience to experience the passionate honeymoon in advance. The film was supervised by Jae-young Kwak, the director of My Sassy Girl, and directed by Zhang Zilin, with the crew including Kwon Sang Woo, Kitty Zhang and Wallace Huo. It is expected to be on show this summer.
