Tan Tian's Second Solo Show displays the paintings, sculptures and installation works that document his performance project, How I Become a Contemporary Artist, which has been two years in the making. The 27-year-old has been doing his best to be a so-called contemporary artist: He collects the keywords from the work of A-list artists' and incorporates them into his own works and he mimics the social skills of successful artists. He has found that the first solo exhibition is often an experience artists find excruciating.
