E-town's intellectual property bureau held a meeting, on Feb 10, to discuss its work for this year and to let the zone take the lead in establishing a professional intellectual property center for Beijing. And a China (Beijing) Intellectual Property office member described their work and asked personnel to improve services for micro-to-small-sized businesses and daily work. The zone has three areas -- Huilongsen, BPU software park, and Jiajie scientific park -- that deal with intellectual property rights, which outlined their work for 2015 and exchanged ideas with each other on future cooperation, while showing a commitment to quality services for zone enterprises.
The zone's intellectual property complaints center got a business service award after an annual evaluation of similar institutions across Beijing, and the zone says it will work with the three areas to formulate intellectual property protection and improve the personnel involved in intellectual property rights, under the guidance of the China (Beijing) Intellectual Property Office. It will provide diverse intellectual property training and protection training programs for companies in the zone and do something to improve the efficiency of intellectual property protection, with one or two associate workstations in Beijing, and continued upgrades.
