The Beijing-based Tus-Holdings Co announced the opening of TusParkHK Innovation Hub in Hong Kong on Feb 5, taking an important step toward internationalization and showing its confidence in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem of Hong Kong.
TusParkHK, which is nine-storey high and overlooks Kowloon Bay, is a central business district being developed by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government. The park will provide customers with favorable conditions including a gym, a cafe, showers, shared workspaces, two lecture halls, a rooftop garden and a prototyping lab.
The project will progress gradually. The first phase that opened on Feb 5 includes the communal space comprising of exhibition and conference facilities. The business incubators and shared workspaces will open in April 2015.
"The park will become the largest innovation base of its kind in Hong Kong. We hope to create a collaborative and creative environment for enterprises to interact and thrive in the competitive market," said Wang Jiwu, president of Tus-Holdings Co.
"As an international financial center, Hong Kong offers various fund-raising channels for technology-based companies with high research and development input. Meanwhile, the city's latest policy in providing a strategic environment for innovation and technology development has also attracted an increasing number of technology companies from around the globe, which provides a large market demand for us to extend the park's business here," Wang added.
Tus-Holdings Co, the parent company of TusParkHK, is a large comprehensive technological service corporation affiliated with Tsinghua University. Tsinghua University Science Park operated by Tus-Holdings is one of the most influential parks and attracts world's top technology enterprises and top university entrepreneurs to form influential groups of leading technology companies.

With operation experience of Beijing TusPark, Tus-Holdings has successfully expanded its business to more than 20 cities and regions in China including Shanghai, Nanjing, Kunshan, Xi'an and Guangzhou.
Besides, it has set up two Sino-US technology incubators in Silicon Valley, and established liaison offices in other countries including South Korea, Russia and Israel to integrate into the global innovation ecosystem and make contributions to promote the interaction of technological innovation resources and regional economy.
A large number of high-tech enterprises in Beijing's Zhongguancun Science Park have become leading enterprises in the industry.
