Police in Beijing have stopped a gang of 10 beggars who lay in the street, pretending to be seriously ill patients, to get money from pedestrians. Police suspect the gang was organized by a man surnamed Wang who made gang members work in the street for 15 hours a day and submit all the money they got to him. In return, Wang provided them with food and gave them up to 300 yuan ($48) per month.
