Beijing West Railway Station has taken extra measures to ease passenger demand as chunyun, the peak travel period in the run up to Spring Festival, approaches.
To ensure a safe and comfortable trip for passengers, the railway station has improved its services by keeping all ticket windows open and adding more volunteers to the workforce.
The 2015 chunyun will begin on Feb 4 and last until March 15.
Beijing West Railway Station is expected to carry 5.55 million passengers during the 40-day travel rush.
