The Zhongguancun Internet Cultural and Creative Industrial Park opened in Beijing on Dec 3, helping to promote the development of the advertising industry and cultural and creative industry in Haidian district.
Government officials including Sun Wenkai, chief of the Haidian district government; Liao Guohua, vice-director of the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee and Chen Mingjie, director of the publicity department of the CPC Haidian district committee, attended the opening ceremony.
The Park will take the new media culture industry as its leading industry and Internet advertising and creative design industries as its supporting industry in two or three years. It aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of Haidian's cultural industry.
