Many tastes of home offered for foreign visitors

It's no longer a tall order to find authentic foreign food in Beijing, as the metropolis is home to many embassies and also a good number of exotic restaurants. These both offer Chinese a taste of foreign culture and quench foreign visitors' yearnings for their home cuisines. We highlight here a few foreign restaurants from APEC member countries.

Sushi Yotsuba

This is the best Japanese restaurant in Beijing according to dianping.com, a popular website where users post comments about food. It offers authentic traditional sushi and fresh sashimi, and boasts experienced Japanese cooks using delicate culinary preparation methods. The peony shrimp and salmon are raved about by diners.

Address: No 9-3, West Jiangtai road, Chaoyang district.

Nadaman

One of the best and most expensive Japanese restaurants in Beijing, Nandamen features an exquisite menu, quality dishes, and excellent service in a delicate environment.

Address: Fourth floor of the China World Summit Wing, No 1, Jianguomenwai Avenue, Chaoyang district.

Koo Kee

This restaurant serves authentic Singaporean staples and snacks, such as Hainan chicken rice, steaming bowls of laksa and braised pork intestines.

Address: No 5, Wanke Park, Tianshui Xiyuan, Chaoyang district.
