Although Blue Marlin is the new kid on the block on Bejing's dining map, the chain bar and restaurant has made its name in several Chinese cities during the past 15 years, especially in East China.
Found in Suzhou in 1999, Blue Marlin has been striving to provide a "home away from home" where western palates can enjoy some of the most familiar tastes in China, especially in smaller cities other than Beijing and Shanghai.
Located in the convenient embassy area near Beijing's East Third Ring Road, Blue Marlin's Beijing location marks the brand's 13th branch, after successful operations in Suzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Changzhou, Wuxi, Hefei and Xuzhou.
The two-floor, spacious Blue Marlin in Beijing provides a wide range of international cuisines for lunch and dinner, from Boston lobster, quality steak, handmade burgers, barbecue meat and Italian pizza, to simple Asian dishes.
With business hours extending from morning to late midnight, the ground floor makes a comfortable place to enjoy some live music, as resident house bands perform every night.
Besides food, guests will find a large selection of chilled imported beer on tap, and over 50 different styles of hand shaken cocktails that Blue Marlin claims to be proud of.
To celebrate its grand opening in Beijing on Nov 28, Blue Marlin is offering 50 percent off on lunches and 20 percent off on dinners to all Wechat followers until the end of January. Make sure you scan that QR code!
