A delegation from Virginia, US, visited Zhongguancun on Oct 21.
Xuan Hong, deputy director of the Zhongguancun administrative committee, gave a background of the history and policies of Zhongguancun to the delegation.
Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, who led the visiting delegation, highly praised Zhongguancun's achievements and expressed his wish to cooperate with Zhongguancun.
Zhongguancun's enterprises are encouraged to carry out R&D cooperation with universities and research institutions in Virginia, while American environmental protection science and technology enterprises are being encouraged to settle in Zhongguancun.
The two sides will also strengthen cooperation on a business incubator and enhance exchanges through activities such as an international exhibition.
