Police officer Cao Zhigang from the Beijing Public Security Bureau and his fellow policemen have recently posed for photos publicizing the city's anti-terrorism campaign.

The SWAT team are currently busy preparing to provide security for the Chinese capital city during the APEC Summit from Nov 5 to 11, 2014.

The Hollywood-styled posters are seen on the screen boards of Beijing's subway lines.

The 43-year-old Cao built his reputation through cracking kidnapping crimes. He has dealt with 423 kidnappers and rescued 170 hostages.

Jackie Chan's film Police Story 2013 was partially based on him.
