Security beefed up for APEC meetings

The Beijing Administration of Work Safety announced that from Nov 1 to 15, no gasoline in bulk will be sold in the capital.

During the period, factories making dangerous chemical products and warehouses that store the products will be closely monitored, Beijing Legal Times quoted the administration as saying. The efforts are aimed at ensuring safety during meetings of the 2014 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Week, beginning on Nov 5.
