Huairou Park, a sub-park of Zhongguancun Science Park, has made great progress in energy saving and emission reduction to welcome the approaching 2014 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting in Beijing's Huairou district.
The park has urged its enterprises to replace coal-fired boilers with natural gas-fired boilers since the beginning of this year, in an effort to reduce sources of pollution.
It has also developed a system for waste exchange and water reuse, which is benefiting different enterprises in the park.
